** The 3.5 inch Hard disk could be set as any jumper setting such as "MASTER" (Device 0), "Slave" (Device 1) and "Cable Select" (Device 2) for the windows recognition.

** For using Windows ME and 98SE, the enclosure should be OFF before starting up your computer as the motherboard cannot detect the Operating System (98SE/ME) automatically when there is more than one hard disk connected.
